John D. Shreves on December 23, 2014

Last year I became a new papaw when our 3 year grandaughter Addy moved in with us. My son and I , disagreed at first about the entire santa promise and suggested not metioning unrealistic promises. Diasagreable I insisted on giving her a chance at hopes and dreams of great suprise , mostly because of her proior living arrangement. It was not a good one. Once my son, Addy’s father, agreed I began the great story of promises that I , along with Santa failed to keep. I am also a disabled veteran and we are struggling as well. After many, many requests to many, many resources it feels good to get real direct help. It was once suggested to me, hopes of a possiable present for Addy or even myself. At first I thought, why would I get a present? Then I realized that the help I receive, allows me to provide a present for Addy. That is a present for me, in itself. Its a well appreciated miracle.
