Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP)

The LIEAP is offering help with utility bills from November through May. Applications are available on the Department of Family Services website. This state run program is open to homeowners and renters. If you need financial help and live in this area please apply for LIEAP. Energy coverage includes: electricity, natural gas, propane, wood, diesel heating oil, coal and pellets when these are used for heating a home. For more information please call 800-246-4221. Applications are accepted Oct. 2016 to Feb. 2017.
