The Salvation Army can help you with utility bills if you have received a 
disconnection notice. The program offers assistance year round. You will need to go to your local Social service office after your received your disconnection notice. From there, you will be pre-screened for the Salvation Army program. *Other requirements exist to qualify for the Salvation Army program though*. Seniors 60+ may receive utility assistance more than once per year too. If you would like more information please call 757-965-9012 ext. 1.
