Utah offers the Home Energy Assistance Target (HEAT). This program is designed 
to help low income individuals pay their utility bill. Assistance is given between November through March and is fund dependent. Applications can be obtained by contacting the Department of Human Services or by calling your local community energy office. For more information on available community assistance programs please call 2-1-1. TIP: Most utility companies have payment plan options, which could help you out in the short term.
