Stress Management Tip
Stress can have negative side effects because of our fight or flight response. Obviously if our fight or flight response is continuously triggered our health will be hindered. This is the main reason why we should practice relaxation techniques. Our fight or flight responses will be triggered less often if we do. Below are some suggested ways to relax:
Go on a walk
Relax in a hurry (mini relaxation like at a stop light or in traffic)
Breathe (focus on your breathing and bring down your heart rate)
Relax your “body” at work
There are multiple ways to elicit relaxation we have only named a few and remember if you do them your health will be positively impacted.
