Sports and Disabilities
Sports and people with disabilities can change community perceptions and foster personal pride too. Sports played by persons with disabilities tend to make society see more of the person instead of the disability because its something to be shared. On another note personal satisfaction comes with playing sports. There is a chance to develop social skills, responsibility skills, and leadership skills too. All of which should have a positive impact. EDL encourages people to play a sport or at the very least engage in a sport, if possible. The benefits of doing so are significant.
