Single mothers living in North Dakota there are grants available for you. The Low 
Income Telephone Assistance Program (LITAP) is a program specifically designed to help single mothers. This program offers basic telephone service credits through lifeline. If you qualify and receive benefits you must re certify eligibility after a period of time. This program maybe right for you if you need a basic telephone service and cannot afford it right now for whatever reason. For more information please call 800-366-8201.
