Mental Wellness and Resources

What is a mental illness? A mental illness is a condition that affects a person's thinking, feeling or mood.* These illnesses will probably affect one's ability to relate to others. In addition, a person might have problems functioning each day too.* Unfortunately, people will have different experiences with the same diagnosis.* So, it is extremely hard to get the correct dosage for each person. It is very subjective. As an example, one person may experience multiple episodes of mania while another person may never experience mania.* This situation would require different treatment.

If you have any questions about mental illness, please view the resources on this page or send us a comment.  Mental illnesses can be difficult to live with. Our goal is to provide you with useful information. Again, if you do not find the information you need please leave us a comment or send us an email. We will do our best to provide more information.
