Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
It is a Federally-funded program that helps low-income households with their home energy bills.
Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program consist of the following:
- Bill payment assistance.
- Energy crisis assistance.
- Weatherization and energy-related home repairs.
LIHEAP is Available in al 50 states
Applications for funds are due to the Division of Energy Assistance annually by September 1
It can take up to 45 days to process your LIHEAP application
