We will formally consider your situation for 12 months and you may contact us during this time to add to your situation or check the status of your application.

If you purchase a formal application, your situation will be considered by EDL staff for 12 months. In addition you will receive you own personal page and personal EDL account as a bonus (more on this below)! This means you can adjust your application during the 12 month period and you may contact EDL staff members too. A formal application purchase provides you the opportunity to actively receive financial help. Engagement is one of the major factors in deciding who gets financial help for the month. About The Creator, James Pino
The founder of EDL personally knows how far help can go. In the middle of law school, 2010, he suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. He had to relearn how to do the most basic activities like walking and talking.
With self determination and help from therapy and the department of assistive and rehabilitative services (DARS), he graduated law school and created this nonprofit. Without help, he firmly believes things would have turned out much different.
