The Neighbor-to-Neighbor program offered by direct energy can provide individuals up to $700 of utility assistance per year. Each agency has its own qualifications which determines who receives assistance. Individuals must be direct energy customers, reside at the residence where the utility service is being used, and be the one financially responsible to be the bill each month.
