Learning to deal with rapid thoughts is extremely difficult. However, you must get comfortable with being a peace with yourself. It is ok to not to be thinking or doing something. You can take time for yourself. If you cannot get your brain to shutoff for a period of time, then try to train your brain to be thankful for what you do have or how to get what you want. Fill your head with appreciative and thankful thoughts. Instead of feeling your head with mundane everyday tasks that eventually lead to no where.
"If we allow our ‘high creativity’ to remain alive, we will never be bored."
Madeleine L'Engle
