The TX Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) offers a housing choice 
voucher program. The BVCOG is a federally funded program which provides housing to low income, elderly, or disabled individuals. Qualification is based on annual income and family size. Long waiting periods are common with this program so the early you apply the better. In addition any subsidy given for housing is paid directly to the landlord, not you.
