The Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) offers utility assistance through utility providers. Priority is given to elderly, disabled, and families with young children. To be eligible for assistance you must apply and have high energy costs related to your income. The following contains a list of utility grant amounts. CARE Assist Reliant Energy Customers up to $300, Energy Aide Assist TXU Customers up to $150, Neighbor to Neighbor Assist WTU, Direct Energy, and First Choice Power Customers up to $600, Sharing the Warmth Assist Atmos Customers up to $150.
