As a Nonprofit, we have split the cost with you. Usually application accounts are $10 but we have covered half to financially help those in need!

Here at EDL, we believe that no one should be worried about being able to pay bills or rent when they are too disabled to work, especially those with limited incomes.
Are you struggling to pay bills or are you living on a fixed income? Every month there is never enough money to pay everything. Instead its a battle to pick and choose which bills to pay. You might ask yourself "What bills do I pay this month water, electric, medical, rent, cable, food, car, insurance, etc..."(just to name a few)?
Statistics show that the average monthly living expenses, including rent, food, and other necessities, cost low income individuals more than a third of their income.
Further, Living on a fixed income creates stress financially and mentally. Social Security barely provides enough income to live on and in some cases isn't enough at all. So individuals are left to financially struggle which takes a toll on you mentally and physically. Eventually your health takes a hit from being constantly stressed about finances. Now, more doctor bills can be added to all your other bills. An already stretch to the limit budget. How can these additional doctor bills be paid if there not enough money to pay for the other bills in the first place.
You might tell yourself "if I could just start over and get ahead for the month things would be ok." "I just need a little breathing room."
That's where we come in and provide financial help for the month if chosen. EDL has provided financial help to at least one individual for the past seven years. Clients have use the money to pay medical bills, dental bills, utility bills, rent, etc... Clients have also used the money to help purchase hearing aids, buy groceries, or buy school supplies for their children or grandchildren. Elderly or Disabled Living could help you next. There are multiple considerations in deciding who receives financial help and who doesn't. Please stay engaged with us and tell us your situation to the best of your ability. It does NOT have to be perfect. Purchasing a formal application enables you to keep in direct contact with us for 12 months. You will receive your own unique password protected page too. Any adjustments or changes in your situation can be added or deleted during this time period.

Steps to take after approval
After your application is approved, review the approval notice carefully to understand your benefit amount, start date, and any program requirements. We provide you with mandatory steps to take after approval to make the most of your benefit.
If you purchase a formal application, your situation will be considered by EDL staff for 12 months. In addition you will receive you own personal page and personal EDL dashboard as a bonus (more on this below)! This means you can adjust your application during the 12 month period and you may contact EDL staff members too. A formal application purchase provides you the opportunity to actively receive financial help. Engagement is one of the major factors in deciding who gets financial help for the month. Engagement is directly in your hands with a formal application purchase!

About The Creator, James Pino
The founder of EDL personally knows how far help can go. In the middle of law school, 2010, he suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. He had to relearn how to do the most basic activities like walking and talking.
With self determination and help from therapy and the department of assistive and rehabilitative services (DARS), he graduated law school and created this nonprofit. Without help, he firmly believes things would have turned out much different.
That is why he created and setup EDL in a way to be helpful to individuals. He knows just how much caring for someone in a time of need goes. Join our community and see what we can do for you.

Our mission at Elderly or Disabled Living is to provide help to the ones who need it. EDL’s way of helping others is to assist financially or by providing resources. As stated previously, EDL was created with helping others in mind. Caring for others maybe a little harder to find nowadays, but it is still here and alive. It's just harder to find.
