City of Belchertown

The HAPHousing program offers many resources to homebuyers. In addition the City of Belchertown offers a loan assistance program for the down payment and closing cost. This program gives up to $5,000 of assistance. There are some restrictions like being in an owner occupied residence though. If you do qualify for loan assistance, it is interest free and the loan is forgiven after 5 years. Applications are available and if you would like more information call this program or for other resources call (413) 233-1615.
